This is a concept layout for a 180 degree immersive screen using multiple projectors. Edge-blending is a technique often used in large venue events and theatrical shows. By layering and fading the edges of each projection, a seamless ultra-wide image can be achieved. Another unique technique is called projection mapping or warping. Using this approach, the projected image is digitally warped and altered to match and follow the contours of the surface it is being projected on to.
